We are fully committed to the safety of our employees. Safety is the first objective discussed in ur annual performance review. We have incorporated a culture based safety program that begins with each and every employee starting from the first day of employment.

We accomplish this by:

  • Providing full safety training for new emplyees before they begin working in the laboratory

  • Establishing a steering commitee to address all safety concerns

  • Conducting monthly safety meetings for all employees

  • Providing monthly safety training for all employees

  • Requiring that each training for all employees participates in the program

  • Documenting our safety procedures through SOPs and process reviews, and

  • Assigning a Safety Officer

Radiation Safety

We are licensed by the U.S. Nuclear Regulators Commission (NRC) to test and store 14C material. Our program is effectively monitored through the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) and the Radiation Safety Commitee.

The RSO maintains the appropriate licensing and documentation, hosts the NRC during on-site audits provides training for authorized users and limited handers, receives and ships radioactive materials and conducts monthly laboratory surveys of laboratory areas. He also chairs the Radiation Safety Committee which oversees and addresses radiation safety concerns and conducts annual compliance inspections.
